The Team

A team of passionate sommeliers for your wine tasting

Alexis - Founder of Millesiwine

Millesiwine – combination of French word millesime (vintage) and wine, is created in 2012 by Alexis Caraux to share his passion of wine.

Alexis comes from a strong family tradition of restaurant ownership. He entered the wine business in 2011, after earning the Advanced Diploma of the Wine Spirit Education Trust program.

In 2011, Alexis started organizing wine tastings in French, soon followed by classes in English and Chinese!

Today, Alexis has brought on board passionate people with strong knowledge of both wine and tourism, as well as extensive experience in the two sectors, to make each wine tasting a unique moment.

Whether you are a professional in tourism or other businesses, we can organize a private wine tasting or a private wine dinner in one of our restaurants, or in any other place you might suggest !

Let us help you organize a great time for you or for your clients!

Maria - Private sommelier

Maria was born in the Dominican Republic. Growing up between the French and Latin-American cultures, she moved to Paris in 2006.

Once arrived in France, she started her gastronomy and wine education, by travelling all over the different French regions. This gave Maria a strong knowledge and understanding of the French << terroirs >>.

She refined her knowledge attending wine tasting classes, and graduated with the WSET wine diploma.

Maria is also a << gourmet >> and will surprised you with her passion of French specialties including bread, cheese, pastries and chocolates.

She enjoys sharing her knowledge and will introduce you to the universe of French wines!
Her favorite wines are the Rhone Valley reds and Burgundy whites.
